Pasco Aquatic Center is finally opening for swimming. Here’s your guide

After a years-long process, the Pasco Aquatic Center is finally opening for swimmers on Saturday, June 27.

Dubbed “Pasco’s newest destination for recreation, relaxation and family fun” by the city, the-brand-new $41 million facility is in the Broadmoor area at 5204 Road 108.

Construction was paid for by a 0.2% sales tax in Pasco. Voters approved the tax in 2022.

“The facility reflects Pasco’s pride, energy and commitment to creating places where the community can connect and enjoy time together,” the city of Pasco said on its website.

What’s at the new swim center in Tri-Cities?

The 47,000-square-foot facility includes both outdoor and indoor swim areas. Each session is limited to 300 guests.

According to the city, the facility is inspired by the “natural flow of the Columbia Basin” and “designed to bring people together.”

The outside area will only stay open for the summer, but the indoor aquatic facilities will remain available year-round.
