Feel stressed? Learn meditation and tension reduction at Richland classes
Insight Meditation of the Mid-Columbia, a local meditation group, will offer a five-week series of beginning classes on mindfulness meditation.
The classes will be 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday afternoons from July 12 through August 9.
The focus of the classes will be on the basic techniques of mindfulness meditation and stress reduction, as well as the physical, psychological and spiritual benefits of meditation.
The classes form a series, with each class covering different forms of meditation.
The classes, to be in-person in Richland, are open to the public and offered at no charge, but donations will be accepted.
