Lottery players across the Evergreen State won a total of $96.3 million.
In 2025, the biggest payout in the Tri-Cities area was $2 million, according to Washington’s Lottery.
The player hit the jackpot in January 2025 after purchasing a $30 Chrome Scratch ticket at the WinCo grocery store on Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick.

Kennewick stores accounted for half of the 10 “luckiest retailers” in the Tri-Cities area in 2025, according to a March 9 news release from Washington’s Lottery.
These stores sold the most winning tickets worth $1,000 or more, lottery officials said:

- Fred Meyer: 101 Wellsian Way, Richland: Five wins
- Yoke’s Fresh Market: 4905 North Road 68, Pasco: Five wins
- Rocket Mart: 5304 West Canal Drive, Kennewick: Five wins
- Safeway: 5204 West Clearwater Ave., Kennewick: Four wins
- Sunrise Food Mart: 620 North 28th Ave., Pasco: Four wins
- Yoke’s Fresh Market: 1410 West 27th Ave., Kennewick: Three wins
2025 marked the Kennewick Fred Meyer’s sixth year in a row on the top 10 luckiest retailers list, according to Washington’s Lottery.
Yoke’s in West Richland, Fred Meyer in Richland, Safeway in Kennewick and Yoke’s in Kennewick also made the list in 2024.
