Free heart health screenings offered by 2 Tri-Cities hospitals

A free heart health screening is planned by Trios Health in Kennewick and Lourdes Health in Pasco to help Tri-Cities area residents make their heart health a priority.

“Heart disease remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally,” said David Elgarico, chief executive officer for Trios Health.

The two hospitals will screen for body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose, heart rate and oxygen saturation, and will also have educational booths and health care professionals available to address heart health concerns.

No registration is required.

The event for both hospitals will be 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 28, in the lobby of Trios Care Center at Southridge, 3730 Plaza Way, Kennewick.
