Thanksgiving Eve fire destroys rural home near Kennewick
Fire destroyed a rural Benton County home on Wednesday evening.
About 20 fire units were sent to the home at 48031 E. 305 PR NE about 6:45 p.m., according to dispatch reports.
Benton County Fire District 1 officials said in a Facebook post the double-wide manufactured home was fully engulfed with fire and was threatening other nearby structures and travel trailers.
The home is south of Interstate 82, near the I-182 interchange in the area of East Jacobs Road.
