3,000 dogs invade Tri-Cities park for 48th year. It’s free to watch

More then 3,000 dogs are entered in the 48th annual Columbia Park Dog Show this weekend in Kennewick.

The four-day event, which runs through Sept. 28, is organized by the Walla Walla and Richland Kennel Clubs. Hours are daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

A wide variety of breeds will be competing in a variety of events throughout the weekend.

The Tri-City Cluster Dog Show will also have food trucks as well as vendors selling a variety of gear for dogs and their humans.

The annual show has been held along the Columbia River since 1977.
