Is Costco open in Tri-Cities on Labor Day? Target? See grocery store hours

Labor Day is a federal holiday, meaning that schools, government offices and some banks will be closed Monday, Sept. 1..

In addition, some grocery stores and pharmacies in Tri-Cities will close their doors or shorten their hours in observance of the holiday.

If you find yourself needing to run to the store on Labor Day?

Here’s which stores will be open and which will be closed in Tri-Cities on Labor Day.

Is Costco closed in Richland, Kennewick for Labor Day?

In Tri-Cities, only one grocery store is closing for Labor Day.

Both Costco locations will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1:

Most Tri-Cities grocery stores will stay open during regular business hours Monday for Labor Day.

Only Natural Grocers, 751 North Columbia Center Blvd. in Kennewick, will adjust its schedule, closing early at 6 p.m.

All three Walmart locations will be open with regular hours, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.:

Grocery Outlet locations will remain open with regular hours:

These Target locations will also be open as usual from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.:

Both WinCo locations will remain open for 24 hours as normal:

Safeway stores will be open as usual from 5 a.m. to midnight:

All Yoke’s Fresh Market locations will be open as normal from 5 a.m. to midnight:

Both Fred Meyer locations will be open regular hours, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.:

Government offices, including the U.S. Postal Service and public libraries will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, as well as most banks.

Package delivery companies including FedEx and UPS will be closed for the holiday.
