One of the clearest indicators of the holiday season is an abundance of lights and yard ornaments. As Christmas draws closer, more and more displays are popping up around Tri-Cities.
To celebrate, families and friends are mapping out drives to look at lights.
Here are some of the top recommended streets for your holiday light drive, plus a few standouts.
Tri-Cities streets with best holiday lights
One of the most popular local light displays is referred to as “Christmas Carol Lane” in Kennewick, where different houses represent different traditional carols. It covers Kent, Hartford and Garfield streets, plus 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th avenues.
These streets are optimal recommendations, with numerous illuminated houses at each stop.

Popular holiday light displays in Tri-Cities
Some of these streets have standout homes, or fan favorites. This year, some returning favorites are the Bergmann Light Show, at 4274 Northlake Drive in West Richland, and Gatherer Family Lights at 9814 Kokanee Drive in Pasco.
There are also some homes worth driving out to see, even though the whole neighborhood doesn’t participate, like the Odahlen Christmas Light Show at 4517 N. 44th Place in Pasco, which changes every day.
