New doctors, health providers join medical practices in Tri-Cities and Benton City
New patient care providers have joined Tri-City area clinics in recent months.
They include a Kennewick vascular surgeon, a Tri-Cities Cancer Center radiation oncologist, family nurse practitioner in Benton City, a physician assistant for gastroenterology in Kennewick, an urgent care provider in Pasco and a registered nurse practitioner who will provide pulmonary and sleep care in Pasco.
Dr. Dennis Su, vascular surgeon
Dr. Dennis Su, a board-certified vascular surgeon, has joined Trios Health in Kennewick.
He specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of vascular diseases, from varicose veins to life-threatening aneurysms.
“There is a great need and tremendous opportunity for growing vascular services in the Tri-Cities area, and I look forward to serving my new community and providing patients with excellent care alongside the Trios Health team,” Su said.
Su treats patients with minimally invasive technology, according to Trios Health. Catheter-based procedures using balloon, stent or Shockwave can allow less blood loss, shorter and safer anesthesia, and no hospital stay.
He completed undergraduate studies at University of California, Los Angeles, before earning his doctorate in medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. He then completed his general surgery residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, N.Y., followed by his vascular surgery fellowship at Case Western University hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio.
Before joining Trios Health, Su worked as an attending vascular and endovascular surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Washington in Tacoma. He remains a University of Washington clinical assistant professor.

Dr. Ryan Kraus, radiation oncologist
Dr. Ryan Kraus, a board-certified radiation oncologist, has joined the Kadlec Tri-Cities Cancer Center in Kennewick.
Kadlec says he is deeply committed to patient education, ensuring that his patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options and how radiation therapy fits into their overall cancer care plan.
He graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah before attending the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Institute, including doing global oncology research at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Austria.
After his residency training, he spent a year focusing on the treatment of brain tumors and head and neck malignacies.

Alex Ramos, family nurse practitioner
Tri-Cities native Alejandra “Alex” Ramos has joined Prosser Memorial Health’s team at the Benton City Clinic as a family nurse practitioner.
She is fluent in English and Spanish and provides wellness exams, pediatric care, and treatment for colds and flu.
She is a graduate of Washington State University with a doctor of nursing practice degree and completed clinical rotations that included hands-on experience in family practice, pediatric care and dermatology at the Benton City Clinic.
Ramos has mentored first-generation college students and supported academic scholarships for aspiring healthcare professionals.

Rebecca Reinhard, physician assistant
Rebecca “Becca” Reinhard, a certified physician assistant, has joined Dr. Ningxin Zeng and registered nurse practitioner Kailey Friesz at Trios Gastroenterology in Kennewick.
She treats patients for conditions including acid reflux, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, digestive diseases, chronic heartburn, colon cancer screening and more.
She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, with a master of physician assistant studies degree.

Nancy Menjivar, doctor of nursing practice
Nancy Menjivar, who holds a doctorate of nursing practice, has joined Lourdes Urgent Care in Pasco as a health care provider.
Menjivar earned her doctor of nursing practice degree from Washington State University and her master of science in nursing, with emphasis in healthcare systems leadership, from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz. She has certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support from the American Heart Association.

Katie Akers, advanced registered nurse practitioner
Katie Akers, an advanced registered nurse practitioner, has joined Lourdes Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Clinic at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.
“We are growing our pulmonary and sleep lab services,” said Emilia Keener, senior market director of Medical Group Services.
She has worked in the field of pulmonary and sleep medicine at Lourdes Health as a registered nurse since 2012.
Akers graduated in 2024 with her master of science in nursing from Purdue University in Indiana and is certified in basic life support and advance care life support. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
