Last month, the Tri-City Herald asked readers to submit photos of their dogs in an attempt to find the cutest in Tri-Cities. Subscribers then voted on the submissions, crowning an ultimate favorite, a pomsky named Bear.

But that still leaves our feline friends.

There are many dogs in Tri-Cities, but there’s also an abundance of cats.

Now, it’s time to find Bear’s cat counterpart. Here’s what you need to know.

Tri-City Herald cute cat contest

In our search for the cutest cat, we’ll be accepting submissions via this Google Form through 11:55 p.m. October 23, followed by one round of voting.

Reader submissions will be narrowed down to a curated list, and subscribers will be able to vote on a favorite from this list. The Herald will do a profile on the elected winner.

Any reader, not just Herald subscribers, can use this form to submit their cat. Be prepared to send in a photo and answer some questions about your cat, like their breed, a fun fact and where you got them.

If you would like to submit multiple cats, you will have to fill out the form multiple times, once for each cat. However, one submission per household is recommended.

Vote for Tri-Cities’ cutest cat

Voting will begin on Thursday, Oct. 24 for Herald subscribers.

Once voting opens, subscribers will be able to vote as many times as they’d like.

To subscribe, visit the Herald’s subscription page for a list of offers.
