Broadmoor congestion to cause road closures for Pasco drivers

Drivers traveling east on Interstate 182 near the Broadmoor interchange in Pasco have a temporary speed limit reduction as part of the ongoing $7 million interchange construction project.

In addition to a new multi-lane roundabout for the eastbound ramp, the Broadmoor Boulevard Interchange project also includes construction of a new eastbound loop, deceleration ramp and acceleration ramp.

The contractor has completed the excavation and initial grading of the new loop off-ramp under the Broadmoor/Road 100 bridge and has starting to prepare for asphalt paving in a few months, said a news release.
