Santa’s here... let the holiday party begin

Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus receive an enthusiastic greeting from students at the Sunset Ridge Benton Franklin Head Start location at the start of their holiday party at the Pasco site on Burden Boulevard.

More than 350 children will receive gifts, donated by Energy Northwest employees, this week.

The Energy Northwest community gift giving effort has been going on for more than four decades and employees have brought holiday cheer to about 16,550 children of local low-income families since 1980.

Santa was Bob Schuetz, Energy Northwest CEO, and his wife, Brenda, is Mrs. Claus.

Head Start employee Jessica Stone joined the party as a workshop elf.
