Whether you’re a pedestrian, cyclist or car commuter — the city of Pasco wants to hear about your traffic troubles.

The city council plans a special meeting 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, to listen to traffic and speeding concerns from community members.

The meeting will be in the council chambers at Pasco City Hall, at 525 N. 3rd Ave.

The city also will present safety statistics followed by a discussion of specific measures that can be taken to improve safety for pedestrians, bikers and drivers.

“We want to hear from our community about their experiences with traffic safety in Pasco and their ideas for improving safety on the roads,” City Manager Adam Lincoln said.

“We are committed to working with our residents, local officials, law enforcement and community organizations to develop a comprehensive approach to traffic safety in Pasco,” he said.
