48-year-old woman found dead at boat launch near Ice Harbor Dam

A 48-year-old woman was discovered dead on a boat launch just east of Ice Harbor Dam.

Franklin County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after Amy Lee was found about 6 p.m. Wednesday. The sheriff’s office posted about the death on Facebook.

Lee is believed to have died by suicide involving drugs. Coroner Curtis McGary said an autopsy isn’t planned.

The dam is about 15 miles east of Pasco on the Snake River.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to talk with anyone with information about Lee or her death. The sheriff’s office number is 509-545-3501.
