The Miss Tri-Cities Scholarship Program is seeking candidates and volunteers for its 2023 pageant program.

An informational session begins at 1 p.m.,, March 4, at Crossview Community Church, 540 N. Colorado St., Kennewick. April 7 is the deadline to apply.

Hailey Fisher, the 2023 reigning Miss Tri-Cities, and Abby Barber, the reigning 2023 Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen, will share highlights of their experience representing the community during the information program..

In 2022, the Miss Tri-Cities program awarded more than $20,000 in scholarships to contestants.

Miss Tri-Cities is sponsored by the Tri-City Water Follies Association and organizes both the Miss Tri-Cities pageant and the related Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen. Both will be July 22 at Kennewick High School.

The winners will compete for their respective state titles in June 2024.

Miss Tri-Cities Scholarship Program contestants must be between 13 and 28, never married, able to adopt a service initiative and able to meet residency, character and other requirements of the Miss America Organization.

Contestants must have a musical, dramatic, dance, gymnastics, art or spoken word talent.
