Tri-Cities groups are partnering to host a vigil for the victims of the mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado.

PFLAG Benton Franklin will be partnering with Out and About and other community organizations to host a vigil for the victims of the shooting, and to recognize the heroes who stopped it, at a Colorado Springs nightclub, according to a new release from PFLAG.

The shooting at the LGBTQ+ club in Colorado happened late Saturday during a drag show, just minutes before Transgender Day of Remembrance. Five people were killed and 17 others were injured, according to the Associated Press.

The vigil is open to all ages, and will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Out and About in Pasco, 327 W. Lewis St.

Out and About is the only LGBTQ+ club in Eastern Washington outside of Spokane, according to organizers.
