Whooping it up for bullying prevention

Rodeo clown JJ Harrison whoops it up during his bullying prevention presentation Tuesday morning at Lincoln Elementary School in Kennewick.

Harrison is the rodeo clown for the Horse Heaven Round-Up and has partnered with the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo for more than a decade to reach more than 20,000 students with the anti-bullying message.

Each student receives a free ticket to the 2023 fair and a token for a ride at the GESA Carousel of Dreams.

The former middle school teacher is visiting numerous area schools this week during National Bullying Prevention month.
