Biggest dog show in 20 years hits Tri-Cities this week. How you can watch

Five days of dog competitions kicked off Wednesday in Kennewick’s Columbia Park, starting with a special German Wirehaired Pointers event on Wednesday.

Events continue through the weekend, including the 75th Richland Kennel Club’s Dog Show and the 82nd Annual Walla Walla Kennel Club’s Dog Show.

“It’s the largest show we’ve had in 20 years,” said show chairman Stacey Davis. “There will be at least 1,100 dogs shown each day and nearly 1,500 expected on Saturday.”

There are 17 show rings with action starting at 8 a.m.

Admission and parking are free. Food trucks and other vendors are on site.
