New video series to inspire young girls. Tri-Cities women needed to share their stories

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin counties are working on a new video series encouraging young girls to be confident about achieving their dreams and need women to share their stories.

The series of six videos will be titled “Women Who Wow” and will feature community leaders and trailblazers to help inspire young girls to reach for the stars and set high goals for themselves, according to a news release.

Women Helping Women Fund Tri-Cities, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and helping create healthy families, will be paying for the series through a grant, said the release.

But, before the series can kick off, the Boys and Girls Club needs women who can share their powerful stories to young girls, and are looking for women who have broken barriers, made improvements to the community and had a positive impact on people’s lives.

Community members who would like to nominate women with an impactful story, can fill out a submission form on the Women Who Wow website.
