Young Tri-Cities woman dies in I-82 rollover crash
The young woman who died in a crash on Interstate 82 near Grandview has been identified by the Washington State Patrol.
Chelsea A. Gardner, 26, of Pasco died before she could be taken to a hospital about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the WSP.
They did not release her identity until late Friday night after her family had been notified.
She was driving east about 40 miles from the Tri-Cities when she lost control of her 1995 Honda Accord and rolled it one mile west of Grandview city limits.
She was not wearing a seatbelt, according to WSP reports.
The crash remains under investigation.
