The Tri-Cities Chapter of The Links is hosting its annual Youth Poster Arts Contest with the theme of “The Art of Social Justice to Transform Communities.”

Local winners will move on to the national Links art contest.

Students are encouraged to reflect and artistically express the work of social justice leaders, issues and efforts — locally and nationally — that impact their community.

The four interrelated principles of social justice are equity, access, participation and rights.

The contest is open to all students in the Tri-Cities area. Students compete by grade level: 1st to 3rd grade; 4th to 6th grade; 7th to 9th grade; and 10th to 12th grade.

Send submissions to TCLinksArts@gmail.com by March 8.

The Links is a nonprofit service organization of Black women.
