Jazz Little, 14, begins carrying boxes of donated Christmas gifts to a moving truck Wednesday as his brother, Jaxon, 13 and mother, Jennifer “Jen” Little, also load gifts for delivery to the pediatric centers at area hospitals in time for Christmas.

The family tradition started over 10 years ago after Jazz was in a hospital and received toys during the holidays.

Little, a radio personality at 94.9 The Wolf, started helping expand the giving with help of her radio listeners about 4 years ago.

This year they estimate they’ve collected over 1,500 toys for sick children.

Community partners also helping with the program were Numerica Credit Union, Speedy Movers, Gregory Drilling and The Kennewick Police Department Foundation.

The donations were collected at the Stephens Media Group offices in the 4300 block of West 24th Avenue in Kennewick.
