Wreaths Across America is looking for volunteers to help with its National Remembrance Ceremony at Desert Lawn Memorial Park this weekend.

The event is at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, at Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St. in Kennewick.

Following the ceremony, volunteers will help place more than 1,300 remembrance wreaths on the graves of veterans at the cemetery.

Each year Wreaths Across America remembers service members during the holiday season with wreath-laying ceremonies and outreach efforts at Arlington National Cemetery and 2,500 other locations in the United States and abroad.
