A woman has died after falling from a Kennewick apartment building on Tuesday afternoon.

The woman appears to died by suicide, Benton County Coroner Bill Leach said

About noon, the 42-year-old resident of Keewaydin Plaza Apartments fell from a fourth story balcony. Police and medical staff soon arrived at the Sixth Avenue high rise, but she died at the scene.

It appeared she was having some personal troubles, said officials.

The complex is a seven-story high rise for elderly and disabled residents and is operated by the Kennewick Housing Authority.
