Propane-fueled fire burns 2 Pasco townhouses

A fire on a back porch, fed by exploding propane tanks, tore through a four-plex in Pasco on Wednesday night.

Firefighters and police were called to townhouses at 4813 Guemes Lane behind Walmart just after 10:45 p.m.

When police arrived, they spotted a blaze on the second-story porch of one of the homes.

The flames caused propane tanks on the porch to explode but no one was hurt, said police.

It’s unclear what started the fire.

The two middle units appear to have the most of the damage. It’s unclear how many people were displaced by the fire.
