3 hurt when 2 motorcycles collide on the blue bridge in Kennewick
Three people were hurt Saturday when two motorcycles collided on the blue bridge in Kennewick.
The two motorcycles were headed north on Highway 395 when both tried to change lanes, said the Washington State Patrol.
The first motorcycle overcorrected and hit the second about 4 p.m. Saturday.
Joshua D. Smith, 21, of Kennewick, was driving the first cycle with a passenger, Anisoara Mae, 69, of Renton. Both were taken to Trios Southridge Hospital.
Smith is facing negligent driving charges.
The second cyclist was Layton R. Baxter, 18, of Kenenwick. He also was taken to Trios, said the WSP.
All three were wearing helmets.
Their conditions were not immediately available.
