‘Ninja Warrior’ show grants Richland Wishing Star girl’s dream

Oaklee McBride, 5, conquers her Richland backyard obstacle course with Sandy Zimmerman, a record-setting competitor from Oaklee’s favorite show, American Ninja Warrior.

It was part of Oaklee’s wish from Wishing Star Foundation, a nonprofit that grants wishes to kids with terminal or life-threatening illness.

Oaklee has an inherited condition that damages her lungs and liver.

An American Ninja Warrior crew filmed the big reveal on Friday.
