UPDATE: Interstate 90 reopens near Ritzville after truck damages overpass
The westbound lanes of Interstate 90 are open again near Ritzville after a truck damaged an overpass on Tuesday.
Crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation evaluated the damage and decided it could safely reopen until repairs can be made.
Traffic was being detoured off I-90 at Schoessler Road for about five hours.
The damaged overpass is about 50 miles south of Spokane near Tokio in Adams County.
