Kennewick officer in Afghanistan shared this Memorial Day message

Kennewick Office Adam Greiber shared a 2-minute message of hope on Memorial Day while on a military patrol in Afghanistan.

“While this year may look different as social distancing practices are employed, honor them we must, so be kind. Be generous. Be understanding, as well as forgiving,” he said standing on a hillside overlooking a valley and Afghani town.

“Honor them by striving to be the best version of yourself, full of passion, curiosity and hope. Honor them by keeping our sense of community in Kennewick and the Tri-Cities thriving in this troublesome time,” said Greiber.

He was deployed last July for a year and has served in the military reserves for about 12 years.
