Kennewick police help 8-year-old celebrate treatment milestone
Kamden Phillips, 8, flexes his muscles for friends, family and Kennewick police officers during a drive-by parade Wednesday celebrating his 200th infusion treatment for Pompe Disease, a rare enzyme deficiency that causes muscular weakness.
He must have an infusion every two weeks.
Kamden and his brother, Kaleb, 5, also received special police bears for the occasion. Their parents are Kyle and Kendra Phillips.
