Court Street overpass found to be OK after man’s death in Pasco

Investigators have determined there was nothing wrong with a Court Street bridge over Highway 395 after a Pasco man fell to his death there on Sunday.

Timothy M. Mayberry’s death has been ruled a suicide, said Franklin County Coroner Curtis McGary.

Pasco police and the Washington State Patrol have been investigating the death of the 52-year-old since he fell from the overpass Sunday afternoon. Detectives determined that there wasn’t anything wrong with the bridge, said Pasco Sgt. Rigo Pruneda.

Mayberry graduated from Richland High in 1985 before moving out of the area. He returned to the Tri-Cities a year ago. He had been a manager for Pep Boys and worked in the trucking industry, according to his Facebook page.
