Pedestrian killed in traffic on Highway 395 after fall from Pasco overpass
A pedestrian was killed Sunday afternoon when he fell from a Pasco overpass and was hit by a car.
Timothy M. Mayberry, 52, died before he could be taken to a hospital, said the Washington State Patrol.
He was from Hummelstown, Penn., said the WSP.
WSP investigators said in a news release that Mayberry was on the Court Street overpass when he fell and landed in the northbound lanes of Highway 395.
He was hit by a Toyota Camry being driven north on the highway by Piotr Sinyuk, 79, of Pasco. The accident happened about 2:20 p.m.
Troopers said it’s not known what caused Mayberry to fall.
