A Kennewick mother of 5 dies in a crash on Interstate 82 west of Tri-Cities
A Kennewick mother died Saturday night when she crashed her car on Interstate 82 northwest of the Interstate 182 interchange south of West Richland.
Beverly Whitehead, 32, had five children, her cousin posted on social media.
She was driving east at 9:10 p.m. and was about 5 miles past Benton City when her Chevrolet Suburban left the roadway to the right, according to the Washington State Patrol.
She overcorrected and rolled her car, the WSP said.
She died before she could be taken to a hopsital.
She was wearing a seatbelt and had no passengers in her car, according to the WSP.
