Here’s the luckiest Tri-Cities area store for buying lottery tickets

One Tri-City-area store was luckier than any other in 2019, based on the most lottery tickets sold that paid out $10,000 or more.

Yoke’s Fresh Market, 1401 Bombing Range Road, in West Richland sold nine “big win” tickets paying out at least $10,000 last year, the most in the area, according to Washington’s Lottery.

It takes the title of luckiest store from Yokes Fresh Market at 4905 N. Road 68 in Pasco, which sold 20 big win tickets in 2018.

Statewide the winningest store was Fred Meyer in Puyallup, which had 17 big wins.

Taking second place for 2019 in the Tri-Cities area was Tri-Cities Minit Mart, 1400 W. 27th Ave. in Kennewick, with seven big win tickets, and third place went to Safeway, 1803 George Washington Way, Richland with six big win tickets.

Bye Pass Food Mart, 2201 Stevens Drive, sold five big win tickets.

Other stores in the top 10 each sold four big win tickets each: Lucky Food Mart and Fred Meyer in Richland; Yoke’s Fresh Market in Pasco; and Yokes Fresh Market, Winco Foods and Albertsons in Kennewick.
