Tri-City legislators plan Richland town hall Feb. 22

You can get a chance to talk with your state lawmakers Saturday, Feb. 22, at a town hall meeting in Richland.

State Sen. Sharon Brown and Reps. Brad Klippert and Matt Boehnke plan to give an update about this year’s legislative session, which is past the midway point.

They represent the 8th district, which includes Kennewick, Richland and West Richland. They will be joined by Rep. Bill Jenkin, from the 16th District, which extends from Walla Walla to Prosser.

They will be at the Richland Community Center from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Reps. Joe Schmick and Mary Dye, from the 9th District, will hold a telephonic town hall on Feb. 25. Call 509-253-8513 between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to listen and participate.
