Plan ahead for spring cleaning. Kennewick transfer station closing for 2 months
Kennewick residents may have to hang onto their spring cleaning debris longer than they planned.
Waste Management plans to close the Kennewick Transfer Station for maintenance from Feb. 24 to May 1.
The station at 2627 S. Ely St. accepts yard waste, household garbage, furniture items and small home repair or remodeling debris.
No alternate location will be available for the debris during the closure.
The recycling center will remain open, however.
