First new W. Richland fire station in 20 years takes shape

The first new fire station in West Richland in 20 years is taking shape as workers prepare to pour concrete floors and add more walls.

The Benton County Fire District 4 station on Keene Road is part of a bond approved by voters in 2018.

It should be done by the end of December, said Fire Chief Bill Whealan.
