Dinner is going to be a little late, Rover

A semi-truck and trailer filled with dry dog food ended up on its side in the northbound lanes of Highway 395 south of the blue bridge near the double roundabout on Friday morning in Kennewick.

The truck flipped at 6 a.m. and it was expected to take several hours to unload the bags by hand, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson. The driver drifted onto the shoulder and lost control

Traffic was slow until a tow truck could pull it farther off the highway.
