Early fire damages Pasco apartments

Pasco firefighters put away fire hoses early Thursday morning after extinguishing a fire in an apartment complex at 936 West Ruby Street in Pasco.

Deputy Fire Chief Ed Dunbar of the Pasco Fire Department said no one was home when the fire started.

They believe it was caused by some clothes left on an electric portable space heater in a bedroom.
