Head-on crash in Pasco sends 2 to hospital, closed eastbound lanes

An apparent wrong-way driver caused a head-on crash just before 1 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 182 near North 4th Avenue in Pasco.

Two injured men were taken to hospitals by ambulance, one of the men had serious injuries At least one person was trapped in a vehicle.

A small black sedan may have been driven the wrong direction on the interstate. It crashed into a Dodge pickup.

There were no reports to 911 of a wrong-way driver before the collision.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating.

The interstate’s eastbound lanes near Fourth Avenue were closed for about an hour and a half causing backups heading in both directions.
