Families will find a variety of entertainment at this year’s Tri-City Family Expo at the HAPO Center, formerly TRAC, on Friday and Saturday.

The expo in Pasco opens with “quiet hours” for a sensory friendly experience 10 a.m. to noon Friday. It will remain open until 8 p.m. Friday and opens again 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for children 3-17, and $4 for seniors and military members with identification.

Tickets for children who want to attend Storytime with Cinderella from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. Saturday or a Frozen Tea Party at 11 a.m. Sunday cost $12, which includes admission.

Snow White will be handing out free apples from Yoke’s Fresh Market and posing for photos 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, and Captain America will be at the U.S. World Class Taekwondo booth 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Spidey will be at the booth 3-5 p.m. Friday.

The first 200 children through the door each day will receive ride passes to the Gesa Carousel of Dreams in Kennewick.

Tri-City businesswoman Dee Pridemore, who is putting on the event this year, has pledged to donate a portion of the ticket sales to Royal Family Kids to benefit foster kids.
