12-year-old girl hit at busy Richland intersection
A 12-year-old girl was seriously hurt Monday afternoon after she was hit crossing a busy Richland street.
She was struck about 2:30 p.m. by a pickup truck at the intersection of Lee Boulevard and Wellsian Way near Richland High School’s Fran Rish Stadium, said Richland police.
The girl was rushed to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Her condition was not immediately available Monday night.
The intersection was restricted while police investigated.
“Driver impairment does not appear to be a factor,” said the police Facebook post.
