Jim Mattis plans leadership speech at Tri-Cities luncheon

Tri-Cities’ favorite son, former Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, is stopping will address the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce in December.

Mattis is speaking at the Dec. 18 luncheon. The event begins at 11:30 p.m. will be at the Three Rivers Convention Center at 7016 W Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

Mattis, a Richland native and retired Marine Corps general, is expected to talk about leadership.

Normally, the monthly meetings attract 250 to 500.

Tickets cost $25 for members and $35 for guests. Registration deadline is Dec. 13.
