600 Tri-Cities homes lose power Monday evening

About 600 households lost electricity in the Rancho Reata area of Kennewick shortly after 5 p.m. Monday.

Benton PUD found failed equipment and began to restore power about 6:30 p.m., with service returned to all customers by 7:10 p.m.
