A Pasco motorcyclist died in an Interstate 182 wreck near Road 68.
Otoniel Gomez-Gamero, 43, was driving too fast as he turned his 2010 Ducati Streetfighter motorcycle onto the interstate around 8 a.m. Saturday, the Washington State Patrol said.
He lost control of the bike and crashed.
Gomez-Gamero was wearing a helmet.
He was rushed to Kadlec Regional Medical Center where he died around 9 a.m.
The ramp onto the eastbound lanes of the interstate from the busy Pasco street was closed for about an hour while Washington State Patrol investigated.
The Pasco man’s Facebook page has pictures of racing motorcycles, and he worked as a sales manager for SuperMex El Pueblo Market, according to his LinkedIn account. He has lived in Pasco since 2012.
