Police are still looking for the person who stabbed a 22-year-old Richland man while he was walking on a bike path in Richland.
Investigators said the attack happened early Saturday on the path that intersects Bellerive Drive and runs parallel to Gage Boulevard.
Police got the call around 12:30 p.m.
The man told officers he was knocked to the ground. Then the attacker demanded his property, Sgt. Mike Harrison said.
At some point during the attack, the man was stabbed in the upper thigh, Harrison said.
The robber then took some items from the victim.
After the attack, the man walked back to his home. A friend took him to the emergency room at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, investigators said.
