Libby Middle School places in engineering competitions
A Leona Libby Middle School team earned first place at the Future City regional engineering competition in Pullman and third place at the Washington State competition Jan. 20 in Auburn.
The team members were Taryn Boonpongmanee, Anastasia Crosier, and Jonathan Crosier, and advisors were Trevor Macduff and Jon Crosier.
Their performance resulted in $1,300 in winnings for the school.
Each student also earned an annual scholarship of $2,000 to Washington State University.
