Richland motorcyclist hurt when car didn’t stop

A motorcyclist was hurt when a car pulled out in front of him in West Richland, knocking him to the street Tuesday afternoon.

Devin J. Shelby, 54, of Richland, was heading west on Van Giesen Street on a Honda motorcycle in West Richland when a Ford Focus pulled out in front of him at Grosscup Boulevard.

Shelby was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center with a possible broken leg.

The driver, Joshua W. Fromm, 35, of West Richland, was not injured.

The Washington State Patrol cited Fromm for failing to yield.
