For Snoqualmie Pass, it’s chains and delays today.

The eastbound lanes of the pass reopened around 12:30 p.m. for the second time today. Wrecks caused by snow and slush on Interstate 90 closed the freeway twice today.

Washington Department of Transportation officials first closed it around 8 a.m., opened it around 10 a.m., then closed it again at 11 a.m. after more spinouts and wrecks.

Chains are required on all vehicles except ones with all-wheel drive, said the state Department of Transportation.

Westbound lanes did not close.
