Driven to deliver
Pasco School District Transportation employees unload one of four buses filled with donated nonperishable food Monday morning at 2nd Harvest in Pasco.
The delivery of 8,281 pounds of food, more than double last year’s district-wide collection, is part of the fifth annual Fill-the-Bus food drive.
The food will provide about 6,900 meals, according the Jean Tucker of 2nd Harvest.
It will be distributed to those in need through 2nd Harvest’s 25 partner food banks and meal programs in Benton and Franklin counties.
